Hello again!  I hope everyone had a fantastic summer!  Now, Hallowe'en is just around the corner, & before you know it, Christmas will have come & gone for another year!  Speaking of Christmas...I have revamped my list just a tiny bit for the Christmas Baking boxes.  They will still contain 60 pieces, of 12 different varieties of goodies, & they are selling for $35.00 per box.  Here are the 12 varieties:

How can it be August already?

Funny how I was just saying that summer was here, & now, we're half way through August!  I must say though, the summer has been great..weather wise & camp wise!  Now, we're starting the back to school shopping, & before you know it, the leaves will be changing colour.  That's okay though...fall is such a pretty time of year.
I have a couple of wedding cake pics that I'm posting, as well as some of the others from the summer that were ordered.  I'll have another unique wedding cake pic to post at the end of the month, so check back for that one!!

Hello again...oops..I haven't been here in a while!  I've been keeping pretty busy with cake orders, & I am now selling baking at the store at camp.  We're out at Shebandowan, at Malcolm's Landing.  Great place with great people!  Right now, I'm doing 4 or 5 kinds of muffins, as well as buttertarts.  Maybe in the near future, I might make cinnamon buns as well!
I noticed in my last blog that our 2nd grandbaby wasn't here yet...well, she is just over a month old now!  Her name is Rhylan, & she's every bit as beautiful as her big sister, Rhys!

Happy Easter!

Well..here's hoping spring is finally here.  Mind you, with flurries in the forecast for the weekend before Easter, it makes you wonder!  We have a few big events in the next couple of months.  We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of our 2nd grandbaby..pretty much due any minute!!  Then there's Easter, & next month is my daughter's 12th birthday, May long weekend, & the beginning of the camping season...finally!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

See how fast time goes once you get past January!!  Here we are thinking about Easter!  May long weekend is also just around the corner, then we're almost into summer!  Can't wait..winters seem to be getting longer every year!  Hoping for a good summer birthday season, & wedding season!

Valentine's Day..2011

Yay!!  It always seems better once January is over!  February is a shorter month so it feels like spring gets here a bit quicker!  I made some cupcakes for Valentine's Day & covered them in fondant.  The pink & red fondant have cherry flavouring..it's yummy!  Some cupcakes have heart shape cutouts, & others have roses made out of fondant.  I also made a heart shaped ,double layer, vanilla cake.  It's covered in cherry flavoured fondant, & the trim & roses are made from homemade buttercream.

Didn't that time go by fast!?  Christmas has come & gone for another year, now, we're into a new year.  I mentioned on my facebook page how well the Christmas baking went for me in December.  Everyone made it a huge success for me, & I appreciate it very much!  Can't wait to see how next Christmas goes!
